Everyday Miracles Doula Service

I am a mother of a 2 daughters . I am also a wife of over 6 years. I am a non practicing veterinary technician. I love animals and enjoy caring for them as much as I enjoy people. When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was just finishing up college and only had surgery and radiology, and my lab animal class to take. I had to put off the surgery and radiology but took lab animal. I missed 1 class to have my daughter the next day I was back at class. My mother would bring my daughter so I could breast feed her after my class. I know how busy expectant moms are. I remember thinking so much to learn and do and so little time to make it happen. I took a childbirth education class but I still needed that personal support in the labor room. My husband was wonderful but I also required that love and connected empathy I received from my mother and best friend during labor. Having women who know what you are going though and are telling you can do it are a god sent.

My daughter’s births were most monumental and life changing events I have ever gone though. I was so excited about birth I attended births of several of my friends acting in a non trained doula roll. They all said how nice it was I was there just to empathize with them and support them. I knew helping women through pregnancy and child birth was something I loved to do. These were truly everyday miracles I wanted to be part of. I trained with DONA international and became a certified labor doula. I have experience with both vaginal and cesarean births. I also have experience with moms with a variety of backgrounds and medical needs.    My goal as a labor doula is to bring support, empathy, knowledge, and empowerment to women as they go through this life altering rite of passage.
